How it works
I see photography as an act of listening and paying attention. I want to tune into what you love about your family; the little looks, their squishy skin, that curl on the back of your child's head that you never want to forget.
Rather than directing you into staged poses, I'll focus on bringing out what feels natural to you. We'll find a light source, bring you together, and let the rest unfold.

FAQ
What should we wear?
Dress casual and comfortable, avoiding matching clothing. I want to capture moments that feel authentic to you, so interpret that how you will!
This is my first photoshoot, what should I know?
Relax, take a breath and think of this time as us getting to know each other - I just happen to have a camera! Trust my process, you don't have to do anything else.
How many pictures will I receive?
The amount of photos you will recieve depends on the photoshoot category you purchase. See the pricing page for a full breakdown.
Are you available outside of San Francisco?
I'm happy to travel within a 30 minute drive of SF. If you're further away, contact me and we can consider our options.
Do you do couples photography?
Couples, singles, friends, I'm open to anything! Reach out if you would like to discuss rates or shooting options.
What if my kids throw a tantrum?
I won't photograph a child when they feel uncomfortable with it. The bottom line is that this should be a positive experience for you all, so feeling good comes first! We can spend some time troubleshooting ways to make them feel better, but if push comes to shove, rescheduling is possible.
What if I feel awkward in front of cameras?
I have a knack for getting people to forget I'm pointing a camera at them. Try not to think of this as a photoshoot that you have to perform in & that you can do 'wrong'. Focus on spending time with the people you're with during the photoshoot and the time will fly by!
What if my house is a mess?
I don't care at all! Life is messy! Whether you care is a different question. I'm no stranger to moving things around mid shoot to get a shot, so we'll absolutely be able to work with what we've got.
What if we have to reschedule?
I completely understand that things come up, kids get sick, and the weather is out of our control! So I am flexible about re-scheduling to a later date.
